Craniosacral

Craniosacral therapy is based in osteopathic medicine. This work relies on an inherent, universal healing force called "primary respiration" to help the body untie the knots that bind it up, lighten the darkness where suffering is stored, and heal itself. As people go through life they have physical, emotional, and spiritual experiences that can stick with them, make them sick, and cause them pain. I work with the movements of bones, muscles, membranes, and fields as well as the flow of cerebrospinal fluid to optimize function and assist in dispelling strain patterns.
How does craniosacral therapy work embryologically?
Primary respiration begins at conception. The ordering forces and potency that are present within us as adults were with us as an original sort of blueprint from the time of conception. All of the cranial work we do as adults is really just an effort to get back to our original matrix and our truest self. Additionally — the moment of conception, the process of development in utero, and the experience of birth itself all have the potential to imprint on the system as intense or traumatic events. Returning to these original forces and sorting through one's earliest experiences can have huge implications for our health as adults in present time.
